Golden Shower Plant (Pyrostegia venusta) is a beautiful climber that can be allowed to climb on other hardy hedge plants, walls, shrubs and trees. Golden shower can be allowed to climb on trellises, arbors, pergolas and even roofs. Its orange flowers are very beautiful in a landscape.

As distinguished from wall creepers, climbers do not fully attach themselves to the supporting structure. They coil around the structure and also use their tendrils for support. Plant have a direction of twine and the plant grower must work with the direction.

Wall creepers such as ficus pumila on the other hand do not twine along the supporting structure, they attach themselves to the growing surface through its aerial rootlets.
